Let’s begin our 7 days adventure to become a professional blogger. Don’t be afraid if you are new still to the blogging world. Most of the stuffs here are pretty basic and easy to learn from.
Day 1 – What you want to write about?
This is the toughest day of all. I recommended you to pick a niche that you really love to write about. The niche that related to the author will definitely give a boost of motivation and give the blogger lots of idea to write about. Google Keyword Tool is a great way to research for specific theme and niche. Day 1 is over.
Day 2 – what is the reader looking for
Don’t write boring stuffs. That is easy. Blogging is fun sometimes but most of the time it is not. You have to compete very hard with other bloggers to gain more readers. You want to write about something that is unique that no other bloggers have written about. Unique content is a gold mine.
Day 3 – Decide your blogging platform
They have so many blogging software but here is the top dogs. You have two options. Either WordPress or blogger for your blogging software. Yes, it costs not even a penny. Just google for the term and you find the download link for it.
Day 4 – Begin to blog
The Most exciting day is here because you can finally write about something you want. Keep it simple but more than 300 words and less than 3000 words. No need to always write. Upload multimedia also helped improve your blog interactive level. matter of fact, include 1 picture with every post
Day 5 – Let everyone know your blog is online
Google Adwords is the best way to gain visitors. However, not all of us have the ability to spend hundred of dollars to advertise our blogs. Get some free traffic with the list I mention below
1. Link exchange with blog that related to your niche.
2. Post comments on forums or blogs that related to your blog. Don’t forget to include a link to your blog in your signature place.
3. Use web 2.0 social bookmarking such as Digg and StumbleUpon.
4. Use Bum Marketing.
Day 6 – Reflection
I hope you got your blog up by now. The sixth day is the day where you sits back and reflect back to what you did on the last few days.
